Picture(s) of the Week

Several quality snapshots for you this week.  To the point that I couldn't pick a winner.  Thus, I'm going to let you, our followers, make the call.  Please take our Picture Poll at the top of the page after viewing the photos below (this has been removed; Jordan's Scorebook was the winner!  Sugar Cookie Kid a close second).

Coming soon.....an album of photos from Wednesday's match (provided by Janet Schupbach).  And a snapshot taken by Emmie (with her "very own" camera) of the Fiala feast / dinner party at my house this evening.  Featuring 8 of the 14 SuperFoods - salmon, beans (hummus), broccoli, tomatoes, pumpkin (thank you Molly), blueberries, spinach and almonds (thank you Megan for the latter 3; almonds are technically a sidekick to walnuts but Megan is still learning).  The dinner was not planned to be so SuperFood friendly, but Molly did give me a hard time over what was approved (and not) to bring to the house.  No apologies from me; with the exception of my possible tone in sorting through such important details.
Emmie and Abby Van Metre (my babysitter.....a.k.a. savior) watching the women play Cornell on Wednesday.  Believe Emmie is on her 3rd sugar cookie here....provided by Laura's sister and definitely live up to the CoachK sugar cookie standard (if going to indulge, do it right!).  This picture was taken shortly after Emmie had told Michelle (whilst waiting for a service return) that "Mommy wants you to smile."  Coach Brad hard at work in the background.

My fitness class started Monday.  3x per week.  Pictured here is Wednesday's circuit.  Although it appears that Shelby is resting (and in a hands on knees position), he is actually doing walk-outs; we're all glad to have him back!!  I have promised to bring Tanja (referenced in the Kroll Report on Tuesday) back into his life at some point!

Circuit Photo #2!

Circuit Photo #3

The women's match against Cornell on Wednesday.....BEST DRESSED tennis fans (and 3 members of our first year class on the men's side)!  The "MW" referenced in Wednesday's post in the background.

GENERATIONS!  Coach Brad and Shuan McCarthy (Senior Athletic Trainer/Instructor) visiting with VK ('12).  Molly Fiala-Garber ('09) on the elliptical.  Amy Sebastian ('16) playing Chutes & Ladders with Emmie Diehl ('30).  Multiple Kohawks on display in the background (half of the Hall of Fame wall).

Coach Brad had asked Jordan to write her singles score into the Scorebook......apparently, she competes as an individual rather than for the team.  Guess we need to keep an eye on her!

  1. A picture of a kid loving her sugar cookie is going to beat out Shelby slacking every time!
