To start, the blog has picked up in activity.  We are essentially posting daily (at times, multiple posts per day).  Please be sure to scroll down and catch the New Faces piece (Mitch Schumacher) and Coach Rodgers' recap of weekend play.

Will once again apologize for not having posted live on Saturday.  Tried, and failed.  Will figure it out such that LIVE SCORING will be available the remainder of the season for those following from afar. Will further expound upon that and state that Kohawk Tennis will actually have LIVE VIDEO FEED for a few select matches this Fall/Spring.

To quickly recap, the women dropped a close match (4-5) to D2 William-Jewell on Saturday morning.  Three simultaneous 3rd set breakers were played to end the match.  A good test to open the season.  The women bounced back to defeat Simpson 9-0 in their Conference opener.  Senior, Sara Ohlman, is pictured striking a backhand; first year, Diannah Watson, a forehand.

A congratulations to Tom Jennings ('08) and his fiance, Kaci Rumelhart ("Bug"), on their engagement this past weekend.  Coach Brad and I were in attendance for the celebration party and really enjoyed.
