Kroll Report #3- The start of practice

Short and sweet today...

First to recognize the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and the significance the attack had on our great country. Let us never forget the innocent men and women who died that day, and those who continue to fight for our freedom. The Kohawk Tennis Family thanks you.

Yesterday marked the first day of practice for the men. The easiest way to describe it; there are a lot of us out there! A quick reminder of shot-tolerance and shot-quality from Coach Rodgers followed by an official introduction of Coach Brad Fenter kicked off the fall season for the men. While it's a large group I have never been more excited to be a part of a team. All of the guys are eager to get better and challenge one another. It should be an awesome year and we're excited for Coach Kris' lectures and exams on nutrition as well as her fitness agenda!

In all honesty since she noted she would have us keeled over in the near future, I am neglecting what is bound to happen and trust that the work a couple of the freshman, myself included, have done prior to the start of practice will help us out a little.

Our almost daily schedule for the couple weeks leading up to practice was hitting at 3-5, dinner, lifting at 6 or 7 then an insanity workout. This should be enough of a crutch to get us through the workouts, and if not, I'll have to have a talk with Shawn-T and our favorite Insanity video participant, Tanya.

After just two weeks of diligent working out, where we shed blood, sweat, and tears (I especially shed a lot of tears), the only adjective that does any justice to our physique is that we are simply, RIPPED.

I'm kidding of course but maybe soon I'll be able to fill out my small nike cut-off.

Have a good week followers!!
