Kids' Community Event - Fitness, Fun & Philanthropy

This past Saturday marked our 2nd Annual Fitness, Fun & Philanthropy event.  The kids were escorted through 5 different stations.....tennis, obstacle course, nutrition, philanthropy and the ever so popular, Zumba with Tai!

Once again, this would not have been possible without the help of the Postnikov and Van Metre families, and player support!  Jordan, Noah & Tai were instrumental from a leadership perspective - it was evident that they'd done this before.  The other players helping were great in helping create a positive and fun environment for the kids - thank you to Laura, Tam, Hoff, Diannah, Andy, Kaitlin, Virginia, Sarah, Chad, Alec and Amy.

Think best to convey via pictures/videos:

Chad, Sarah & Amy teaching forehands.
Susie baked zucchini oat bars, and then had the children guess the healthy ingredients.
Sidetracked by Coe's Dance Team practice - they took 1st place in this past weekend's hip hop competition hosted by the Univ of Iowa.
Natasha playing a game in which children earned tokens to vote on which philanthropic organization will receive a  donation from Kohawk Tennis.

In prep for Halloween, Tai appropriately chose "Thriller" and had the children acting as zombies!

Obstacle course with Virginia, Kaitlin and Andy!
You may recall that Sushi popularized Gangnam Style within Kohawk Tennis.  The kids performing their impression below....oh, and is that Amy "conditioning"???
