A blizzard rumbled in mid-afternoon yesterday and blanketed Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area with 10 inches of snow. Gusts of snow (attributed to 30 mph winds) made travel very difficult. In fact, Coach Kris decided it best to stay overnight in the Racquet Center. The campus is essentially shut down today (Wednesday classes were canceled Tuesday evening). Despite that, the Racquet Center is OPEN! The above meager trail(s) to the Racquet Center represents 40 minutes of shoveling this morning. The Men's Team will be practicing at noon today. As always, I expect several of the guys to be putting time in outside of the regularly scheduled practice time as well....on court with one or multiple coaches, teammates, conditioning on own, etc. Looking forward to a GREAT day ahead!
